Sobre Melanie Schneider

I am a coach who thrives on taking teams from good to great! My passion is to empower individuals, managers, and teams to leverage their strengths and talents to achieve greater success through increased engagement, improved communication, and enhanced well-being.

I am one of four independent, certified instructors in the U.S. approved to teach the CliftonStrengths Discovery Course, a Gallup course previously only offered in-house. In addition to this course, I can connect with groups through customized workshops ranging in topics from strengths discovery, employee engagement, and team development. I have created team development opportunities for a healthcare consulting firm, community volunteers, student and academic affairs professionals, and faculty and staff teaching a career development course. I have also developed the curriculum and offered a variety of workshops to middle school, high school, and college students.

Prior to founding my coaching practice, Master Your Strengths Coaching, LLC, I worked in higher education administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for almost two decades. As an innovative educator, I have extensive experience helping individuals with their academic, career, and personal development. Faculty, staff, and students have always felt comfortable talking with me and seeking advice. A counseling background and calming presence has equipped me with the ability to discuss a range of issues with clients. I earned a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and a B.A. with a double-major in Political Science and Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to being a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I am certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator. My Top Five Strengths are Input, Restorative, Individualization, Achiever, and Significance.
