My focus as a coach is to help you connect with the talents that you uniquely bring and put them to work for you towards the goals that you are looking to achieve. I greatly enjoy coaching both individuals and teams, particularly college students, young professionals, and working mothers. My goal is for coaching clients to leave every coaching session with at least one action they aim to achieve.
My Top Five Strengths are Adaptability, Communication, Woo, Input, and Empathy. As a coach, these help me to be an engaged listener, an enthusiastic facilitator, and a responsive communicator.
I have over ten years of experience working in higher education in Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin. I currently work as the Assistant Director of Student Involvement at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I coordinate co-curricular student leadership programs. I have seen the power of incorporating Strengths, to help students identify their purpose and see themselves in a new way with an asset-based mindset.
I have earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a M.E. in Student Affairs from Iowa State University, and a PhD in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University.
