My story in strengths started when I worked in a temporary position in a strengths-based company in northern New Jersey in 2006. My top 5 are Learner, Relator, Responsibility, Achiever, Activator (and 6th Maximizer). I became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach in 2017. I started my own coaching business, LC Strengths Coaching, LLC in 2018.
I understand first hand the power of a strengths-based approach to development. Having a common language that helps you and your colleagues, family and friends identify and share your greatest talents means a happier, more productive and more engaged time on this earth.
My careers started with Outdoor Environmental Education, then moved to HR (Recruitment and Training and Development), Higher Education and now Strengths Coach. I have a passion for working and supporting underrepresented students in higher education (first-generation, low-income and students of color). I am also an admirer of Manufacturing, Construction and the Trades industries.
