I obtained a B.S. in Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis. While I enjoyed creating drawings with paper/pencil, the architectural profession began to shift to computer aided design and so I pursued my first love and obtained a M.A.T. in Curriculum and Instruction, also from the University of Memphis. In 2001, after eight incredible years in the profession, I completed an Ed.D. In school supervision from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
My comfort with change is chameleon-like and allows me to understand the dynamics of change and the impact change can have on the individual. Change often owns experiences which serve as a catalyst for my interest in learning new information so I can coach others in developing their talents/skills into their best-self - within the change. And, there is no better feeling than celebrating when the best-self trajectory [strengths] is established and acted upon with vigor.
My intellection affords gives me quiet moments to think analytically and logistically as I encounter opportunities that may seem impossible, even insurmountable to others.
