About Dr. Amanda K. Lake

Amanda took the CliftonStrengths assessment in 2012, and she's been talking about CliftonStrengths ever since! As a public school administrator, Amanda received strengths coaching from Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaches, which left her with a deep appreciation for the value of executive coaching. The experience of managing a strengths-based team revolutionized her leadership practice. As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Amanda values the opportunity to help leaders gain insight into their own talents and strengths, and to recognize the important contributions they make to their communities, workplaces, schools, and families.

Amanda is the Founder of Lakeside Leadership Services, a company that provides coaching and consulting services to leaders of small businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, and churches. She offers training, coaching, and consulting in the areas of organizational design, leadership development, team learning and performance, organizational learning, and educational programming. Amanda believes that the“Aha Moment" that clients experience in coaching conversations is the most rewarding aspect of strengths coaching. She feels truly privileged to coach others as they gain greater awareness of their talents, develop an appreciation for their gifts, and apply their strengths to improve their own lives and better serve others.

Previous to founding Lakeside Leadership Services, Amanda was a public school leader for over sixteen years, serving as a Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director of Educational Services. Amanda holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata University. Her interests and hobbies include organic gardening, long trail walks in the woods with her dog, and fly fishing.
