About Pelani Siwawa-Ndai

Pelani brings to the coaching scene a sense of purposefulness, direction, focus, achievement and energy. She desires to inspire all those with whom she comes into contact to see infinite possibilities and yet retain the ability to distil what is of essence to them and their world.

With 30 years plus of work experience, at both policy and practical levels, in central banking, private sector, and working with Government, Pelani brings to bear on her coaching career this rich experiential knowledge and expertise. This provides her with a solid foundation to fruitfully engage and journey with people in search of the best solutions to their personal development issues.

One of her strongest points is the ability to combine hard and soft skills for the benefit of coachees. Pelani has a Masters degree in Economics, is a researcher/practitioner/consultant in the economic and human resource development spheres, has regulated and supervised banking business and takes keen interest in pertinent evolving issues, and has a particular interest in corporate governance and communications. Currently, as the Managing Director of Emergence Growth Botswana, a Pan-African Human Capital & Reward Consultancy, she wears a human resource consulting and coaching hat; while as the founder of Wawanda Group, a financial services consulting company, she consults in the area of financial services and also wears a counselling hat. This varied experience provides her with a mosaic of options into which she can tap to tailor her coaching approach to a variety of situations and, therefore, help individuals achieve a holistic personal development.

With her learner, responsibility, connectedness, analytical and deliberative in her top five themes, she is able to employ top-down and bottom-up approaches to help others articulate and find options for their desired coaching destinations, be it personal development or a corporate revival intent. Pelani is able to scale up or down the basic coaching principles and creatively apply them to suit the needs of the individual or team, size of the company, nature of business and its strategic intent.
