Claudia is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach with over 10 years of experience assisting small businesses; non-profit organizations and the private sector achieve economic growth and improve employee engagement with her thoughtful counsel and guidance. As a first-generation immigrant, Claudia has experienced firsthand the benefits multiculturalism can bring into the workplace and she is also aware of the challenges it can present to both sides of the table when lacking the tools and the understanding to assimilate each other. Claudia has made multiculturalism in the workplace one of her fortes by designing workshops, retreats and training programs that can help both individuals and groups work with their natural talents to achieve both personal and group development.
Thanks to her work in the fields of business development, microfinance and financial education in support of disadvantaged communities, Claudia was named in 2010 the Minority Small Business Champion of the Year by the Rhode Island Small Business Administration, and in 2013, the Rhode Island Latino Public Radio recognized her with an Outstanding Achievement Award for her contributions to the Latino business community. She also received the Ronald McDonald House Community Service Award in 2014.
Claudia was first introduced to Gallup Strengths through her voluntary work at Leadership Rhode Island’s Initiative. Gallup provided her with the structure, and the tools to maximize the work that she was already doing in helping others achieve success in their personal and professional lives.
Claudia’s passion for helping others develop their full potential, combined with her diverse experience and multicultural background make her uniquely positioned to provide you with the tools and guidance needed to achieve your individual and group goals.
Claudia serves on the board of directors at Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Young Voices. She’s also an advisory board member of the United Way of Rhode Island and holds a certificate of Master Coach of Neuro-linguistic Programming.
