I have served the US Government as both a uniformed Army officer and civil servant for many years. For much of that time, I have been directly involved in developing talent and building organizational performance. I believe that my experience has led directly to realizing that people and organizations perform best when they leverage the power of their innate strengths. My experience encompasses working with large organizations to establish a vision and engage their workforce, as well as primary work groups to develop teaming and communication skills. I have coached hundreds of students in a leadership development environment to focus upon what engages their passion as a leader and embrace what makes them most effective. In all those cases, true success stemmed from recognizing, understanding and developing their strengths to amazing levels. I believe it is within the ability of all of us to understand what makes us truly successful in whatever setting we choose to perform, and to develop those strengths to ever greater levels. I am personally committed to building strengths for many years to come.
