Karen Mooney, MBA, ACC, is the executive director of administrative facilities and campus operations at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she oversees a budget of over $40 million and manages a team of more than two hundred. During her time at MD Anderson, she received the Best Boss award, and she has twice been a finalist for the institutional mentoring award.  

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in construction management, Mooney went on to receive her MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler. Mooney manages a weekly leadership blog that inspires people to develop strong self-awareness, a quality that allows them to find their unique leadership voice. She is a certified coach by the International Coach Federation, Gallup StrengthsFinder, and she is a professional member of the National Speakers Association.
