Lori Maurer, Senior HR Consultant
My professional career has been in higher education after completing a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Dakota. I came to the University of Notre Dame in 1994 from Saint Joseph’s University. After serving in the Division of Student Affairs as Associate Director of Residence Life & Housing, I transitioned to the Human Resources Consultant position in 2007.
I am responsible for the implementation, planning and support of HR programs for various units across campus including the Enrollment Division, Keough School of Global Affairs, Alliance for Catholic Education, College of Engineering and the Office of Information Technologies. I provide training, consulting and coaching to executives, managers and individual employees. In 2013, I was presented with the Arts & Letter’s Outside Award recognizing a Notre Dame staff member for outstanding contribution to the College. Along with the Gallup Strength coaching, other certifications include: Myers Briggs Type Indicator, 360 degree feedback from the Center for Creative Leadership and Organizational Analysis and Design from Linkage, Inc.
